GrossKopf's servers will be totally gone from IW5M as of 23 October. They're already down to 1 UK Terminal server. And that is mostly populated by little bitches. First it's little girls who claim that everyone is cheating. Then those little girls come back with aimbots and name changers.

As far as the European community being little bitches: The_Inhuman saw it when he played there. About 30 seconds in he started getting called an aimbotter. I thought US servers and players were bad, but holy SHIT.

Well, I must say that I can't blame.

I get to deal with it all the time... the aCI does work. Some players are just morons.

Let me give you an example:

An IW5M tournament started this weekend here in Portugal. To ensure the quality of FourDeltaOne services on that tournament, I decided to monitor the whole tournament. I've double-check and tuned the servers after the host had everything ready, I helped every clan leader to get the game working without problems on their teams, and so on.

And one thing that I've decided to do was to monitor the whole matches as spectator, with spectate type set to team. So, I spectate one team, and the event organizer spectates the other team, the whole match. Then me and the event organizer switch teams on map change and keep spectating players until the end of the match.

aCI does work, and I and the event organizer were spectating the players the whole time. What's the possibility of someone cheating under those conditions? Right...

 

Still, after the first set of matches, one team came to us with complains as the other team was cheating.

They couldn't even name the cheat that they thought that the other guys were using, but they just had to acuse the other guys of cheating.

Shall we blame the aCI? shall we blame server hosts?

What are we updating the aCI for, if cheats are on people's heads?

If people didn't hint at the bypasses & such, and the kids who want to play the game for free had to figure out the bypasses themselves, the player base may actually be better because some of the kids may be too stupid to know what IRC is or how to google something so simple.

 

Or, if there wasn't a bypass at all. I know that there is a chunk of the player base that doesn't own the game legally, but this would get rid of a lot of kids who complain about something they're getting for free. They complain about something they didn't pay for and expect for every little aspect to be perfect for their situation.

 

Now, if they actually paid for the game, then they can complain. Otherwise, gtfo.
