Why do you want to run the game through iw4mp.exe?!

iw4mp.exe is for the original steam game if you want to start buy it on steam.

to play it free with 4D1 start iw4m.exe or LaunchIW4M.exe

what kind of limit?

you can try to copy it and rename it otherwise there is no way to start it

or try the "other" client to start

Obviously schools block such programs.Also you cant use iw4mp.exe to connect to the servers.

You cannot use iw4mp.exe to connect to the fourDeltaOne server, as it is for Steam. Besides, even if we used iw4mp.exe, it would most likely be the same as iw4m.exe (at least, I believe it is like that with my limited knowledge of the game).

 

If your school has an internet restriction on connecting to the 4D1 servers, a different .exe shouldn't make any different.
