Do you really think you can compare Forza to NFS as they're two racing games with two completely different game mechanics?

 

Noope.

Forza is a realistic racing game, just like Gran Turisimo. NFS is mostly an arcadeish (became one after NFS:U) racing game, with exceptions for Shift, where the speeds and how you get around corners is not set to be realistic.

And if you're wondering why I call it a "realistic" racing game, is because it's not a racing simulator, big difference there, mmmk...

 

What you just did was comparing BF3 to IW5. You just can't do that as they're two completely different games within the same genre.

forza is great, nfs is great, and the gt series is great.....but im not going to compare forza to nfs...but i would gladly get forza horizon and nfs mw if i had the money

Game runs like a turd. I'm CPU limited (2500k! FFS, I get improved FPS when I overclock) with an old ass 4890 of all things, wtf is that!?

Seems like it doesn't use anything beyond dual cores since when I set the affinity from 4 cores to 2 my FPS doesn't change at all.

Hopefully a patch will fix this.

 

Otherwise, with the framerate locked to 30 (ugh...) the game is really fun so far. Feels very much like Burnout Paradise with the billboards, gates and burnout-to-start-race thingy.

The cars' handling feels very loose compared to the original Most Wanted and Burnout Paradise though... I was hoping it would be tight, like them. Hopefully it's only at the beginning of the game. :\

and thats why i didnt buy it lol......i like racing games, but if they have bad driving(shift 1&2) that annoys me......since you said it feels alot like burnout tho.....i cant call this a nfs game anymore...lol

MC:LA handling was so easy after you played it for about 5 months.......(only game i had for a while on ps3)

ok just played the first race...drove the Aston Martin, and the Porsche...what the fuck were they thinking, the handling is so shitty....

handling is really bad with no upgrades, it becomes a bit better with some. Also, got the Bugatti Veyron now and it's fucking insane lol. Driving around at 430kph is very difficult. I guess it's possible to get to 500... Not sure as there's not place good enough to test it.

its annoying to run from the cops with fps that skips from 40 to 60......

my first cop chase lasted 13 mins....now i have a headache.....

i take everything i said back.......this game is pretty fun once you get used to the handling...i cant stop playing it

... then I decided to take that car for another spin against the first Most Wanted driver, and noticed something that's somewhat rare when I'm playing a game - an actual response of me making some 'yes!' gesture with my hand upon completion, one which apparently only racing games seem to evoke.

I won't call this a good NFS game, but it's a fun racing game... EVEN THOUGH it's very difficult. Like, these races where you have to get above a average speed, are so annoyingly difficult. You can't crash, you can't fuck up in any way and you have to keep a ridiculous high speed through small places. And these races defined as "hard", they are really fucking hard. More like impossible if you haven't done the "easy" race and one of the "medium" races. Also, i fucking HATE those spikestrips in races. Because, if you crash, you start out with the same fucking tires. And if you don't have inflating tires, then you're FUCKED. And most of the time, there's no repair shop that you can use either. And when you've finally found one, you've already lost. Also, I like how you can be on the oncoming lane, speed past a cop on it and not get it after you. And I've got the Bugatti Veryon SS now, and it's so difficult to drive, even with the best upgrades.

I now have only 100K points left for most wanted 1 and I've used about 5 hours... Short game as fuck. Like, NFS:MW the old one had 15 most wanted and it took twice as long to get to each of them, and it was even more difficult imo.

 

One accusation I had was that "there was no sense of progression because you start with a fast car". Well, you start off with a fast car, but you go from a fast car to an insanely fast car.

its a nice Game,the challenges are from Easy - Really Hard , its not easy cause , the gameplay is total another then the older NFS games but it makes much fun , to take a run truth the city , and catch some cars.

i think you mean Shift. is the tablet version almost the same as the pc/console version?
