Revision 77

 

• Simple fix for playing demo's which error out with "Server connection timed out"
  All thats needed now is to wait a bit at the start of the demo. (mostly less than 1 minute)
  - A more permanent solution is to find out why/where its trying to connect and patch that.
   
  no demo fixes needed

That's at the end of the demo, which doesn't matter so much.

Make sure you stop your demos with stoprecord.

Game is still technically in beta, so even if you are a beta tester you will use the recommended build

People who compile these builds just like to test and do it 'cause they can or want to try something out

Btw, it seems after I updated to r77 I've been having this bug... Any server I join ( ANY SERVER) my ammo is messed up... On my primary it says I have one bullet left and it keeps making me reload, when I actually have full ammo? On my secondary, equipment, and grenade I have no ammo, but I have full ammo when I use it... It's quite annoying as it keeps making me auto reload for my primary... At first I though it was the server I was on and then I realized it wasn't... I would post a screenshot but I'm not at home right now...

@napsterlove, I know that, but they have released a STABLE version (r65) for all to download, beta is NOT stable... Therefore anything not r65 is technically considered a beta... ( at least I think )

yeah, plenty of people I know are saying the same thing about stats being wiped D:

just restart your game a few times and they're back

Works perfect for me. Demos work at normal speed with no demofixes.

I forgot to say, there's a lot of delay for me. I start the demo, do timescale 100 and wait like 20 seconds before it plays ;S Hope it can be fixed since demo fixes were faster for me. Also I'm not sure if it's possible to fix but sometimes there's some delay in demo's as in your bullet hits the enemy before your aim is actually on the player :/
