why would lan need to be 'fixed' in any game? also, lan-only modifications should a) disable functioning with VPN software and not have an internet server list.

That is what I am interpreting, if you're having a LAN and someone is hacking, you could just get up from your chair and kick their ass, no need for an anti-cheat there.
