IW4M stops responding on startup + Doesn't install properly

I get this annoying error where the installer doesn't install IW4M properly for me, and it does absolutely nothing to my game.

 

I've tried resetting my computer, reinstalling the IW4M installer, reinstalling the game, etc.

Nothing fixes it.

If this helps, I have the cracked version of M.W.2, but my friend has the exact same torrent I used and his is working fine.

 

Please help!

    This obviously wouldn't work, as I'd never ever opened the game before...
