Hello amigos. I had this idea of getting loading screens to be changed easily as I saw kokole's IW5 Background Changer. I asked him if it was possible to do an IW4 version but using the actual loading screen changer instead. He came out with a v2 version but it had some slight issues regarding the packer and the crc changing. I have fixed them to an extent that it will function.

 

But yeah this is what the current UI looks like:

 

I have attached 2 versions of the exe one is for Original Steam MW2 and the other one is for the 4D1 client (named as Other Client). If you don't use the other client then please use only the Original MW2 files. On the 4D1 you need to use the iwd that I had provided in the folder, which contains the necessary iwi's for the maps that are only specific for those clients. You just put the iw_XX inside main and then run the exe.

 

How to use:

1)Extract which version you want to use.

*If using the other client put the folder main on your MW2 folder*

2)Then run the Easy background changer.exe

3)Locate a picture you want to use using the Browser function.

4)Once selected choose the map you want to override with.

5)Click Ok on the bottom left corner.

*If using the other client you may have a popup saying can't find MW2 folder. If you do get this then locate the MW2 root folder.*

And it should take a few seconds for it to override.

yeah, now I see there are loadscreens for killhouse and bloc...? But I though you didn't managed to load this maps in IW4

The map is able to get to the loading screen but it fails to spawn the map. It just loads it up until it crashes.
