Does the new IW5m support friends list someone told me it semi supports it and another person told me it was to buggy so they removed it, would be nice to have it if anyone can help me out that would be awesome.

IIRC it imports your Steam friends. It doesn't work for some people though.

Get Steam, add friends and set your profile to "Public" ,

It doesn't work properly. Also you don't need it, as you can't connect to eachother atm.
