I don't see how you missing that dll on the update but here you go

i need ur help please !! .. in the download package .. mp_nuked_shaders.ff was not downloaded and it's missing from the download package can someone give me a link to download it ? please!!!!

Same problem here. But now when i start it it's not mss32.dll (after placing it in Windows/System32 folder), but the binkw32.dll that's missing. Btw, i don't have SP1 on Win7, if that helps.

Copy the .dll's from your gamefolder to your localappdata/IW4M folder.

Hey, I got a little problem...

I updated my Client, started IW4M and tried to join a Nuketown server but I forgot to download the Nuketown DLC so my game crashed and now it keeps saying:

"Could not load localization.txt. Make sure Modern Warfare 2 is run from the correct folder."

What should I do?

CAN someone explain how does this work and how to apply this update?? THNAKS

If this was related to my post; this error pops up when I try to start the IW4MLauncher. And I already deleted the caches.xml :/

Obviously, get a localization.txt and put it into your game folder and start the game with LaunchIW4M.exe.

Already tried that too; I used an english localization (got the german version) and also copied the original steam-localization file. Both didn't work.

Into my normal MW2 folder.

And you started the game with LaunchIW4M.exe found at your Start button ?

I'm normally using the .exe in the AppData\Local\IW4M folder but this doesn't make any difference. Right?

You should download uTorrent or any other Torrent program and try it again, worked for me

is it possible to set a different location for the DLC installer for those of us with SSDs and separate storage drives for games. i ended up dragging and dropping from appdata\local\iw4m to my iw4m folder on my games disk after i had used the installer without a problem

Use the standalone updater -> viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2040 on the game folder.

That will avoid the usage of %localappdata%IW4M
