Oh, is that a remake of the first Most Wanted? I loved that game.

I don't see why you idiots complain about it, the game isn't bad.

It's better than some of the previous NFS games.

But seriously, what did you expect from Criterion, you knew that they were making it, you knew that they are behind Burnout.

Like i said in a different post, the sense of progression goes from very fast to ridiculously fast cars. And the controls for keyboard is rubbish. It steers ridiculously slow, so the lightweight cars like the ariel atom and caterham R500 aren't agile at all.

 

Also, Criterion fucked up a lot of aspects of the game. Cars KNOWN for having 4WD didn't have it, although some did. Cars with DSG gearboxes clutch extremely slow, until you get an upgrade. The fucking Tesla Roadster. WHICH IS A FUCKING ELECTRIC CAR, GOT NITROUS. REALLY CRITERION? REALLY? They pretty much went full retard on the game and made it extremely arcadeish, but in every OTHER aspect than the driving, as the driving isn't arcadeish AT ALL. I will never touch this game ever again. I've done the entire main gameplay, which is getting to #1 on the most wanted list and getting all the cars. Which took me about 9-10 hours. It feels like Hot Pursuit on the driving part (obviously made by criterion too), but that is a decent game, because it feels more like the original game, very pure and simple. At least you got a speedometer in that game.

The thing is, is that the "new" Most Wanted doesn't have a story, which I LOVED in the first one... The quality is good though, but on PC, the game is unplayeble.

I was and i still consider it to be the best NFS allong with UN1 and UN2.

With a few mods the game doesn't even look that bad today ( Not saying original graphics sucks )

last i played most wanted(old) i kept trying to find a 1920x1080 mod, cause that made u2 look almost like a modern nfs(almost)...but i didnt know about that texture mod

Nfs MW can actually be moded preaty well. From texture mods to night/snow mods and of course many many car mods

 

You should visit nfscars sometimes, great page for nfs mods.

I haven't player MW yet, but I played the demo and it's hard as hell to control cars. Especially after The Run. Damn exotic cars seem like muscle cars.
