if you dont have an optical disk then you have more space for hdd/ssd/gpu/fans/flashy leds/water cooling/all that other ricey shit no one wants!

HDDs, SSDs, graphics cards, fans and water cooling actually are useful.

Stop using words you don't know the meaning of.

Stop using words you don't know the meaning of.

>LEDs

>useful

>my laterally aligned sides

You completely miss the point, Optical drive isn't neccessary, but how can it hurt yoou to have one?

1) costs money

2) takes up space

Note how I didn't say that LEDs are useful.

But water cooling is useful for lower CPU and GPU temperatures and thus allowing higher clock speeds without having the risk of overheating. Water cooling is quieter in most cases too, which makes it more suitable for people who want a quiet system. Just because water cooling is not useful for you, doesn't mean it isn't for someone else.

but i said flashy LEDs were ricey and you implied they werent as i ``dont know what rice is''

also wtf? overheating? maybe in a laptop but ive had my gpu on 100% load for hours on end and it levels off under 70C even with the fans going at about 55% capacity (and thats with a disabled fan...)

so please tell me who can afford fucking water cooling but cant get a gpu with a fan?

you have a point about noise levels but (need to specify your average gpu fan here as some dumbfuck thinks im talking about 20000 rpm fans) fans are quite quiet if you have them under 70% capacity or so

but thats sort of irrelevant as your case, other components etc still have fans which DO make noise

I never implied that? I implied that HDDs, SSDs, graphics cards, fans and water cooling are useful because you mentioned "all that other ricey shit" which implied that the stuff mentioned before were rice.

Yes, overheating, overheating occurs at higher clockspeeds if the cooling isn't sufficient. Overheating has quite a broad definition though, when it comes down to most computer hardware I consider anything above 65 degrees Celsius to be overheating.

What exactly are you smoking? You're supposed to include your graphics card in the water cooling loop.

Well, with a water cooling loop in your case you could use them as exhaust and use a 180 to 240mm fan as intake. So the graphics card(s) and CPU are in the water cooling loop, there's a single big intake fan and the PSU has no fan in this case, is there any other component that requires a fan?

if i said "...LEDs... and rice" then youd be all OMG LEL BUT LEDS R RICEY TOO!!!

so, yeah - cant fucking win. i was just making a list of shit

my gpu is safe up til ONE HUNDRED AND FUCKING FIVE DEGREES - as long as im running ANY fan, it wont hit that - so, again, dont need water cooling. its not any safer running your gpu at 30C than 50C

yes i know that. my point was that you dont need water cooling as long as your gpu has at least 1 fan

so you already have a fan from your wc, id personally want 1 or 2 general fans for the case just to circulate air in and out of it. also wtf why would a psu not have a fan?

Опубликовано:

I would like to see a case where the gpu takes up space on the 5 and a half inch bays..

Everyone has one in their stash of old PC crap. But, some people need/use them and others don't. Nuff said.

Yes, and the word "other" implies that the aforementioned components are rice too.

Yes, it might run, but not for long.

But then again, just because you don't need it, doesn't mean someone else won't either. This is not hard to understand.

Why would you need more than two (or three if the water cooling loop uses two fans) if there's one (or two) exhaust fan(s) and a single big 180-240mm fan?

And yes, a PSU without a fan, these are made for those who want an extremely quiet PC. http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1063-page1.html

By the way, I'd like you to try pointing just the fan at the GPU without the heatsink.

Oh, don't even bring that up to him, he's been spamming with topics about what parts should he buy for last few weeks.

flashy LEDs are undeniably ricey

can we just drop this as its dumb etc

not for long? no i dont think u understand. running it at a high temp may cut its lifespan a bit but theres a 99% chance you will have replaced (read:upgraded) it with a new part before it shits out

and yer but honestly id say half the people with WC dont even use (benefit?) from it - ВЈ2,000 facebook machine and all that

you probably wouldnt but another fan on top of those 2 wont really increase noise levels (as long as you have it at the same/lower rpm)

>By the way, I'd like you to try pointing just the fan at the GPU without the heatsink.

wot?

No, we can't.

Maybe if it was 80 degrees Celsius, not a hundred and fucking five. There's a reason why there's a thermal shutdown if you reach the 100 to 110 mark.

Maybe if you count the people who are using those terrible pre-made water cooling kits too.

Yes it will, whether you'll notice the difference, that's the question.

According to you it's possible to cool your GPU properly by just pointing a fan at it without the heatsink, I recommend you to try it out.

Опубликовано:

well why the fuck not?

i dont want to argue with you anymore because you refuse to see my points & you fail to understand my reasoning

its dum

>Maybe if it was 80 degrees Celsius, not a hundred and fucking five. There's a reason why there's a thermal shutdown if you reach the 100 to 110 mark.

as said already, my gpu runs well below 80c at full load with fans at ~60%

n my cooling is shite anyway so what sort of system needs wc?

>Maybe if you count the people who are using those terrible pre-made water cooling kits too.

like, half of them? okay.

>Yes it will, whether you'll notice the difference, that's the question.

well, no, not really.

when the fuck did i even IMPLY that?

Because you seem to fail to understand that the word "other" implies that the ALL the stuff mentioned before (not just the LEDs) is also rice.

Heavily overclocked systems/extremely quiet systems.

well, no, not really.

Yes, Decibel is a logarithmic unit.

when the fuck did i even IMPLY that?

When you said "fan" instead of "heatsink".

Опубликовано:

well fucking obviously i didnt mean that u cunt

as im sure u probs managed to work out over you splitting hairs over my word usage

>Heavily overclocked systems/extremely quiet systems.

like 1% of all systems (no wait not even that)

>Yes, Decibel is a logarithmic unit.

but u dont shitting notice it

in any case the fan from your wc still contributes

btw i dont think you understand what the word logarithmic is, dumbshit. way to just copy off wikipedia

oh and also it's spelt "decibel" so obviously you don't know anything about the word because you spelt it with a capital xDDD

>When you said "fan" instead of "heatsink".

EVERY GPU EVER has fuckign heatsinks. dont be dumb.

>cuz u didnt specifically state what u were talking about and list all its details then ur WRONG XD

what the fuck are you even arguing about? youre literally spewing shit out of your arsehole

It's quite a good laptop, and even though Beats is overpriced, for laptop sound system it's still better than regular.

I'd rather use a "regular" soundcard and speakers than anything with Beats on it.

That's just plain stupid. Even though I'd never buy Beats (again, but they're already sold to some fool :D ), if I were to buy a laptop I wouldn't be mad about it having integrated Beats audio. I lole external solutions more, but I can't brink my speakers everywhere with me, so good integrated speakers do mean a difference.
