I am here today to present the project Jiangyi and I have been working on, on and off, for the past 5 or so months. It's a conversion of the IW4 Terminal to the IW5 Terminal.

 

Here is a brief overview of what this project encompasses:

- Texture Recreations/ Conversions -

 

- Physical Collision patches that were made in the IW5 version of Terminal -

 

- A 100%, accurate as possible recreation of the vision file (Thanks to The Apadayo for dumping the mp_terminal_cls.vision file from IW5 for me!) -

 

- Three overall visual improvements: Longer Shadow View Distance, Higher LOD Model distance (meaning more detail remains on an object while getting further away from it), and a slight ambient blur to make it feel like IW5 -

 

- Some background changes such as removing the swaying pine tree and the music in the 'bookstore' and the 'Dreams' store -

 

- NOTE: 99% of the IWI's do not have proper CRC so the textures WILL be detected as impure if a server is running sv_pure 1 in their settings -

I'd rather see 'terminal_disco' project replacing the floor with violet-black themed dancefloor and with some dubstep instead of russian elevator music in library :>
