EDIT: Had a look at the pic, and what you should do is open LaunchIW4M.exe

 

 

Download the auto-updater from the main page, locate your MW2 folder through the program. Then in your start menu would be a icon called play MW2. Click that.

 

Also, don't start iw4mp.exe. And if it still dosen't work, do a clean-install as you seem to have used aRev/iw4play.

That makes no sense... IW4MP.exe isnt connected whatsoever to launchIW4M.exe....

The name launchiw4m.exe implies that it launches iw4m.exe..

iw4m.exe is the client itself, launchiw4m.exe is the updater, which also launches the client, so iw4m.exe

Best is to launch launchiw4m.exe, as you will remain up to date.
