TO INSTALL

If you downloaded Camo Pack 1 in ZIP format or you downloaded other skins/camos that are in .IWI format, please disregard any instructions that came along with it (if any came with it at all).

This is how you install:

 

1.Get your camouflage.

2.make sure file extensions are enabled in folder options

3.Create a .ZIP file. rename it to z_whateveryouwant.IWD. So then it will be an IWD file.

4.Open it up with Winrar or 7-zip

5.Create a folder called "images" (without the quotes, ofc.)

6.Drag the your edited camo or skin file in to the images folder

7.Drag the .IWD file in to your m2demo folder

BTW, this is just a copy and paste from the topic that I made on my clans site, but i did post it on the old aIW website. Also, what happened to the spoilers? they are really helpful.

I made a folder in my mods folder, then put the .IWD there and launched from the mods menu. it works perfectly. But I only put mine in the mods folder because I have lots of skins and camos that i like using.

lawl, I have had these gloves since you made them. Nicely done. Though it is easier to place the files into it's own .iwd, for example z_glove.iwd and because game does not like when original files have been messed with

Put it in your m2demo folder, which should be in.

Indeed ._. you DO NOT delete anything from your original iwd's as that would break your game. And you did such as a thing. Either delete iw_07 and verify steam cache, reinput the deleted file *MUST BE THE ORIGINAL FILE*, or download iw_07 from the .iwd Repository viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3776

Don't touch the .IWD files in \main unless you know what you're doing. if you want to skin, then always make backups. Don't be sorry because you did something. We all do stuff that's wrong sometimes.
