charge for dlc (mw3 included)

fail to work with competition gaming and cod communities

fail to release updates to address 100s of gameplay flaws

 

activision is pissed nta has matched them at their own craft. he's made a port that is inherently open while creating a playership that was not as large (totaling around 1.5mil vs. the 6, 7, or 22mil activison had in their releases) but much more satisfied. if a campaign that was boring at its very best, a server browser that attracts 400 people on a good day, some new spec ops leveling, or new percs on slapped on the same pretty looking yet non configurable game engine is listening to the people who buy your game then you are bat shit crazy. if you think its a good way to make $$ then good for you.

Again I can't speak for everyone, but I bought MW2 on steam when it came out. You know what happened? I got BANNED for helping create Gungame!! Alot of people came here because mod support was available, and supported.Besides that I came here to enjoy talking to the same community I've loved for the past 2 years,Help out ANYWAY I can, and to Just have a damn good time. Im sure many people here will agree with me on that note.Personally, If Mw2 is not revived (The way AlterIWnet had it). Then it's a waste of a FUCKING GREAT GAME!

Yep, sure there are people who just want a free game but it has been made clear to them that this is no longer available. As such the majority of the remaining "community" are infact here for a game that has got all hte improvements that we wanted but was not delivered.

when there's a link to a torrent of a $20 game that's only going to increase freeloading but look what happened to that project, and then look at the legitimization attempting to be had here. within the total group sure there are freeloaders, but also within the total are hundreds of clans and communities and within those are the number of people wanting improvements, which i agree, is very small. this shouldn't be a deterrent for development however, people who care will fix the things they find broken, just as freeloaders will torrent every game launched for the rest of time. the very fact the freeloaders exist validates the community in fact; why would they freeload something that was total shit?
