So heres my idea:

After the cheaters are unbanned from the game, their clantag should be set to [HAX] for let's say a week. Also useful for serveradmins to keep an eye on them.

You mean YOU. Im sure we could make it where to the client it seems like his name is normal, but to the players he has the tag.

Maybe it can be set so it only shows the 7 days that they actually play.

I haven't 'cheated' in mw2 since hosted lobbies in the original steam version, so that's irrelevant

but i vote no because if he want to play without hacks, so ppl bannin servers even not hacking.

Not if it is being done through a custom iw4m.dll. Also there's no reason to make it public. Although maybe a way through gsc to check if a player is banned or has been banned.
