So, what do you people think about the idea?

So, I've been juggling a few ideas for what to make out of viceCitizen a little, and I've come up with a nice edible idea, which for the record has nothing to do with multiplayer (hah, owned).
Anyway, the idea (did I already say it was edible? it tastes quite good) is as follows: when I'm finished with the base framework (which mostly consists of copying and fixing up stuff I've written in the past) and a few gameplay experiences (ooh, experiences. also, I overuse parentheses way too much), I'll release a base version of a standalone game (SA engine with VC map, like OV was before) with the VC map and the former mentioned gameplay experiences (anything - rampages, missions, side-missions, races, challenges, collectibles, the lot) for all of you to download.
Even more so, if I can get myself to keep to it (or build a large queue of experiences; me keeping to it is mainly based on the response to the modification itself), I'm intending to release a new set of a few (3-4? dunno) gameplay experiences weekly/bi-weekly for automatic update, so there's pretty much a small bit of gameplay for people who are closely following the series every update, while for new people the amount of gameplay offered only keeps increasing... it's the good old 'update every once in a while' method, but with a fixed schedule pretty much... which I hope works out
Anyway, as the subject states, what do you people think of the idea?
