Hey, i am creating a dedicated server for this mod, and i need some help with the shortcut set-up. I create a server.cfg using the template provided, then i dont know what to do.

 

I know that to create a server, a shortcut is made and then a command line is added, what is the command line that has to be added for the server to load the mod? because i added "fs_game mods/ai2" (with z_svr_ai2.iwd in it) and it loads a standard tdm??? Help plz :)

Great mod zombiefan, I have 2 servers running 24/7 with v1.8.1 your mod on. Through the weeks of hosting, though, I've noticed a few bugs.

 

1. I've noticed that on rust and terminal with about 7 or 8 people on, pages and pages of this shows in the console. After a couple of minutes of these errors everyone on the server disconnects simultaneously. Is there away to fix this by setting some higher limit in the config or is this just a fixable glitch in the mod?

2. Just a small little detail I noticed in the log again. It shows up every so often but doesn't cause any sort of damage. I'd just like to know of how to get rid of it or for you to fix it in the mod.

3. Just a small last question. Since I run 2 instances of your mod from the same folder they use the same console_mp.log. Is there a way to change the file name of that log for one server to say console_mp2.log?

just make two different shortcuts for your server and add the parameter for the fs_game mods\modname2 or so on if you wanna create more than 2 instances. It will have different mp_logs in each separately since they are being run in separate modnames folder...

Yes, but that will make the game type name for the servers different.

it's just a matter of aizombie1, aizombie2, aizombie3 and so on... still perfectly acceptable.

 

I guess I'll just add like a space in the name or something. Although a way to change the log name would be nice.

Go into your server config file for each instance and change g_log to something else. Since I run multiple servers, I have the log name the port of the server.

 

set g_log "28961.log"

 

Now each server instance (assuming you have a different config file for each, as you should) will have its own log file.

Well I did that but only the games_mp.log changed, I just went and created two differently named mod folders to separate each server completely.

Hey, this mod is awesome! But I got a little problem. :/

When I want to host this mod in a private match so I can play with 2 friends my game freezes after 5-10 rounds. When my friend hosts the match it already freezes in round 2. Any idea how to fix this?

Iam hosting a server using v1.8.1 version this mod, I always got the error message and then crashed after a day or two.

The error is : Script runtime error (see console for details) exceeded maximum number of parent script variables

Can anybody teach me how to fix this problem?

or is it a buy going to be fixed on next version v9?

How do u mean haha? I just installed fd1 and never Atlerrevolution or alteriw before? But how can i solve it ^^

Hmm... you downloaded a bad torrent. Replace this with the one in your folder.[attachment=0]localization.rar[/attachment]

hi your mod has much bug and tested it with my server and you kill the zombie run xdd SIGEN Map hinrse something like that is very small XD but good job though I have to use the 1.8

Why is it when you get a weapon from the box and try to use it, it switches you to a handgun?

Make sure you load the mod if you are joining a friend because it has modified weapon files

And do not use The V1.9 for server use I'll release a server version soon.

In the meantime, got a question on how to load Oilrig, Contingency, Gulag, Pripyat, and Burger Town in v1.9. Oilrig loads fine with "/devmap oilrig" from the console. Loading any of the other 3 gets the map, but no zombies or boxes spawn. Match starts and about 1 or 2 seconds later the round ends successfully without anything happening.
