What are you thoughts on the upcoming IW5M? I think it's amazing

Ooh! I'm glad that NTA is continuing this, as TeknoMW3 has too many hackers with nearly no way of detecting them...

 

Besides, NTA's work succeeds Activision's. It's not an opinion, I think it's fact.

Agreed with the post above. NTA's work is better in pretty much all ways. He's working for free (Well, he might get some money from ad revenue from the site), the product is of much better quality, we can sleep easy Activision doesn't get our money from the project itself, no shitty developers who won't patch things... etc. etc. etc. | That's why I stuck with FourDeltaOne, it's just better quality overall.

 

But my opinion on the actual project? (IW5M)

 

I think it's a mistake. NTA's getting a bit cocky. We might shut down again, despite his counter actions against it. We should stick to IW4M, GBH2, and more projects like that.

 

But I am excited in a way for IW5M. If it'll be as successful as IW4M (Which has modding support, Dedicated servers... etc.) I'll be really happy. It's about time anyway, IW4M's getting a bit boring. As I've been playing it for the past 2 years.

Well, in aIW times, we had altermw3.net, alterops.net and alteriw.net website, they were all shutdown

I'm looking forward to playing it, not looking forward to how Activision responds to it if/when they do.

I hope those asinine "Tactical Crouch HURR" servers don't show up in here. They're the only populated servers left in MW3.

1) If alterfags are still doing it, we have as much time as them (quite alot of time then :/)

2) NTA always adds in a legitimate steam check (and then might remove it along time)

3) Activision is waiting to strike us with this. Once they do, we could just direct them to cocky alterrev, and since their staff is a bunch of morons who will probably ignore the charges, and try to avoid, will really just be making more time for us to have our project.

4) If we DO go down, we can just make a hidden mod like 4D1 AGAIN.

5) So, all in all, we are just stuck in one big loop.

Seeing how NTA plans on adding in the steam check we should be good. I actually bought the game back in February played it a little then ended up deleting it. I just downloaded it again just to play on here. But yes its good to see its coming home.

the only reason for making this, is ranked servers.

Why does anyone want ranked dedi servers in this game? COD2 didn't have any ranked servers, or ranks, and it is still a popular game. In MW3 u can have any weapon and perk combination in dedi servers, u dont need to grind lvls to unlock anything. Just go to private match and setup classes however you want for dedis.

Some people like to work for all the shit in MW3. Feeling of being rewarded, you know.

 

Otherwise, MW3 has the shittiest maps I've seen in any FPS game, and that's one reason to abandon the abomination.

I agree that MW3 has shitty maps but, if IW5M 4D1 is released and people find a way to build/port maps, maybe the game will be playable with better maps?
