What is this - A Thread

I don't even - have a brain?

You must be new to our community. Really new.

Nah, he just finds people posting "I don't even" to be a nauseating assault on the English language. Completely understandable.

This is Craptivision not being normal anymore but just greedy.

You mean actavision, and how come iw4m is not legal?

It is NTAuthority's code, meaning it's fully legal.

NO. he means Craptivision. He was being sarcastic :D

And yes it's NTAs own code, but they think it's malicious

Malicious

Characterized by malice; intending or intended to do harm: "malicious rumors".

IW4M Doesn't match this definition, if anything, it will increase Activisions sales because they may actually dump off some more copies of MW2 once NTA fixes there fuck ups. Honestly, Pls Blizz/Acti

TOS = Law?

it's a binding agreement between NTAuthority and Activision, which is governed by contract laws.

They shouldn't care about the pc community, and leave us alone.

That attitude will just get you quite opposite to where you want to be; albeit saying whatever you want will have no effect on a braindead mule...

Seriously, what's their problem? Do they just want their games to stay permanent crap? Fuck, MW2 has basically passed away, why not let people have a go at it...

They can't admit they've made a crappy MW2 game, it's actually haunting them once they see MW2 modified.

And then they cry themself to sleep at night.

Agreed.

Downloaded MW2 on steam. Started it.

0 players.

Asked for support, and they said you have t wait 5-20 minutes for players and lobby's to load. seriously wtf

i've done this as well and some idiot on the phone told me to try re-installing as she was sure people "must still play the game on pc"

/facepalm

NTA should email them back and be like ''Bitch please''

No, he should be like: "FUCK OFF!"

No, seriously. Activision should better take care of Alter.Rev, instead of trying to beat NTA and fail at it.

Tried to enter the site, I got this:

Not sure if my schools security is retarded or some other company is responsible for this.

Likely the former.

Seems Act. is pretty mad at this point; they're just firing all their guns up front at this point. Not like it's going to do them any good, honestly. Never did.

In a lawsuit, what would Activision be able to put forward then? 0o

i made a thread on that

I'm not understanding the underlying difference between this and alteriwnet, and I don't think Activision will either. Not trying to bust yo chops dude but if you got a cease and desist, and now your putting up something pretty much the same they won't mess around when it comes to legal action, even if it takes a while (years lol).

This time there's no reason for them to complain, and I don't assume they'll go and sue over nothing of importance - lawyers cost money too!

Personally I'm all for fighting the money hogging, non-community listening bastards the folks at Activision have shown themselves to be time and time again, but I'm guessing you'll need some more ammo to win that fight. 8-)

Win? That requires substantial capital. This fight is rather the 'huge' party lying dormant for most of the time.

However one of the big issues for Activision before was aOPS and aMW3, the only real problem they seemed to have with aIW was that there was a link for a torrent rip of the game. Now there is none of that, plus more people are going to buy THEIR game because of this. More sales equals MORE MONEY for themselves. So really they should be thanking NTA.
