There should be a "nickname" seperate from the "forum name" so that this way the game uses the nickname while your forum name stays the same, in theory it works, don't know anything about the practical part :3

Wouldn't that pave way for name impersonation, which forum login was meant to get rid of?

That's what I meant but yeah, it should be possible to check the nickname entered doesn't match another forum login, I dunno

I think the way it is now is ok.

Users can have their forum name and add in-game clan tags using the custom dll available on the mods section (same applies to staff).

or maybe include a clan tag prefix that people can change in the UCP
