No asking for ETA, and i doubt it

That isn't asking for a ETA.

It says 'Hi when 4D1 MW3', which implies when it's out.

If it was 'Hi when will 4D1 MW3', first it wouldn't be proper English (rest of sentence) and secondly it would make no sense.

Hi When 4D1 MW3 Is Out Is It Possible To Copy My Teknomw3 Stats to 4D1????

Hm, it should be possible, but I'm not sure (I've never seen something like EAM for MW3).

I'n TeknoMW3 it is possible (there is a extra button for this)

i think it could be possible

But not in IW5M.

And maybe level hacking won't be allowed.

And without xp server it would be better so we would know that a player play much.

Hmm I think changing XP rate in MW3 is not as easy as it was on BO or MW2, so I guess there won't be high XP servers for the good of all of us (except the ones who are dead  ).

No really high XP servers are a real cancer in IW4M, it brings all the players on it and there is no more players on interesting servers...

scr_war_score_kill 99999999

Might be recent scripts broke it as they did level.rankedMatch existing when dedicated == 1.

Aren't there anyway to make this cheat protected ??

Maybe make it as a rule like aimbot, and report the xp servers,or just make it without dedicated servers :P

The var does work on TG's version (1.4). NTA is refering to recent updates, perhaps after the DLCs' i.e. version 1.8.

On Topic, the stats migration might not be needed. The exact point would be, since the base version of IW5M is 1.4.382, the Prestiges would go upto 10/11 only. Since the DLCs are working on the later versions, NTA would be somehow making the DLCs playable on the lower versions and vice versa, to get the best workable. (from the shitz ACTI has made now).

So even if you migrate from TGs (Prestige 9), it would be like Resetting Stats after 10/11 and starting from Prestige 0.

Опубликовано:
you cant "copy" stats becouse even tekno had to make "new" type of stat file

And TGs import/export was on same version only. Moreover, cant say how many people might have used this feature (majority are not-originals). I haven't tried it but it would be worth trying, if TGs "Migrate Stats" work on Recent version?

They wont.

Hacking stats will likely not happen, since there is TNet. Well it's up to NTA though.

I was gonna say that also, With TNet it would be better to have everyone go legit on stats. But you remember everyone's reaction to that on aiw when nta was going to make something like elite.

Well I really hope that there won't be any stat hacking, because this is a real pain in the ass, to me it's the second shit that should be eradicated after cheats...

Because of this insta lvl max shit I had to reroll like 5 or 6 times when aIW was at public beta stage and at the end I had to use lvl hack myself so the time I spent on the game was really representative of my level...

Stakhanov, I have to disagree with you.

Some people live these games and spend hours and hours playing it. Some others just like to make a round from time to time and leave after that round. I'm one of those that rarely plays.

I used console dvars in the good old times to get to prestige 10, and then I opened my own high xp server to jump to level 70 with my friends.

If it wasn't for that, I would still be playing with the custom classes.

So, the question here is: "do you have to stick yourself in front of the computer for hours and hours to have the right to try all the weapons and stuff in the game?"

Tnet could have it's own stats. In my opinion, the dedicated servers should send the stats to 2 or 3 places. To your game folder, to Tnet server, and optionally to the online server as it does now.

Meaning that you would have your "real stats" on Tnet server, and your in-game stats either on your local game folder or online server like it is now.

My ideal would be "freely messed up" in-game stats on a local folder, so that those stats could be used in LAN parties, (like the good old aIW client) and Tnet stats that would rely only on data sent by the dedicated servers, so that the stats couldn't easily be hacked like they are now with EAM.

Well I don't have anything against people who edit their stats on their computer, it's totally understandable, I just hate all those high XP server because it's stealing the player base from the good servers and also interesting ones, wehn I log in IW4M what I see in serverlist is, a bunch of full "24/7 same map high XP servers" which is in my opinion the worst thing which could happen to an online FPS (for example CS and CS:S has very mostly "de_dust 24/7 servers" and because of that the game sucks very hard) and when I try to look for normal servers well yes they are some but they don't have they playerbase it should have and there is not much choice if I want a pure server with nearly no modification...

All sorts of people play MW3 and enforcing a particular policy on all of them, wouldn't be wise enough. Apart from the fact that what can actually be implemented or practically viable (through coding/blocking).

As they say, "If you want to please all, you can please none"

Since MW3 has already been in the market for 9 months now, people are already playing it either with TG or Steam. The challange with FD1 is for providing:

1. DLCs

2. aCI

3. Matchmaking.

4. All of the ABOVE ONLY.

People who are already on higher prestige, would like to maintain the same stats on IW5M also. Irrespective of the fact that they are Dedicated Server players or Steam's Matchmaking. (If Steam players, are currently on Prestige 15, it would be a catastrophie to start from L1P1, and they already know, IW5M would take them upto P10 only...but thats offtopic)

For freshers, (who may get a chance to play MW3, courtsey FD1 NOSTMCHK), they might/might not Rank Hack, to maintain an equilibrium with old players.

At this stage after 9 months, a check on Rank Hacking should not be there, IMO. People who want to have fairplay, shouldn't expect that from random strangers. After all Skills matter, not the title. I would give the same example ATVI gave,

"Imagine, two 13 yr old kids locking their server, taking headshots at each other and reaching high rank in 3 hrs"

Would there be a check on time period also, whether the person has reached Prestige in legit time?

We have been playing with TG since its launch now (a group of 6 of us), and have never rank hacked, started from L1 P1 to P7. Once in a while, when we are not together, we connect online to other servers and play. I dont think it ever matters to us, whether that 3rd person is at a higher level, let alone if he has rank hacked. Fortnightly, we organize a match and bring out our Stats file, which we have rank-hacked to L80 (so as to have all guns, perks etc open for all, for a fair fight); and whhooooo everyone is equal {and weapon levels to 31, Perks to PRO}. At normal times, we are back to our respective Levels. (Our Stats file for specific Matches is different)

I believe, the above Para', is what Paulfonta is actually refering about:

I personally hate these type of High XP servers. The good thing is they indicate their ServerName with HighXP or XP or Pompe XP..like things. When I accidently get into one, and whhhoooo..my Level increases to hell shitz of my capacity, all of a sudden, with one f'nkg shot...ahh..

I have to go back and restore my Stats from my latest backup.

I think, it is being done for/by some freshers, who have recently setup their TMW3, to level up fast, in order to pace up against old players, who are already on high Prestige.

I am myself planning to introduce this in my IW5M server  , to reach up to our current TG levels, fast. Provided ofcourse, those vars are not blocked now. Else we will have to rank hack our stats in IW5M, to maintain the flow of our Level-up-progress. (We wont be getting callsigns/emblems though)
