Now that the team has been around for a while, we think it is time for a bit of an evaluation. We have seen some very good efforts, and also some things we didn't really want to see. So now the time has come to add all of this up, and see who is still good enough to be in the team.

In the next few days/week gaminitupp and I will assess all of you, and sadly, this may result in someof you losing their position. Now don't worry if you have been absent for some reason lately, if you have reported so in the Going Away thread, we will keep this in mind, and you won't be judged on that.

After we have assessed you, me or gaminitupp will have a conversation with you. If you did everything right, the conversation will be very short ;p. If not, we will go through these things, and if we think you are able to, you will have a chance of solving them. And in the extreme case, you might lose your position immediately.

 

So, I hope you all have understood, and please, if you are to lose your position, don't come bugging us or anyone else..

Nah, I don't think you're out.

I got fired because I spent most of my time in S&R. I really did want to help in "Projects", but whenever I find an unread topic which I know answer to, it would always be answered, either by normal users or few rare staff that dedicated much more of their time to help. Those normal users got hired now, and I guess the staff that helped will stay staff, and they deserve to.

And the topics I didn't know answer to, well, seems like others found that solutions are harder to find, and that's the obvious reason these topic remain unsolved for so long.

 

Anyway, I'm not even that sorry, I had great fun being staff, I will miss it, but it was still an awesome experience to work in community as big as this one. Maybe one day I will become staff again, once I get a hang on to the latest errors and fixes, like I knew in aIW. I simply got out of the loop because I was inactive for a very long time after this community was started.
