I tried to join my friend in a private match and keep getting the same error. " Could not find High.ff "

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Redownloading your game files seems like a proper solution to me.

You know, sometimes the ai zombie mods custom map names messes up things. When I tried to set up the mod once, on subbase ( Or mp_hell as the zombie mod changed it ) When a friend joined my private match he got the error "Couldnt load mp_hell.ff" . Not that this applyies here, but just incase it isnt highrise.

Yeah, I also don't think this is a client related issue. It's the server that's calling a file that doesn't exist.

@OP: I wouldn't bother much with that error and would keep playing. The host (your friend) on the other hand should take a look at the mod he's trying to run (vanilla MW2 won't call for something like "high.ff").

Unless of course if STvLKER is right and your MW2 is "high"

Kind of, I was trying to join my friend so we could play zombies. It was on highrise. But highrise works normal in private matches.

Yes. Both must load up the mod from the main menu. Then join the other friends game.
