I can login and launch the game, but as soon as I click 'Play' or 'Servers' in the IW5M client, my router seems to drop connection and must be restarted in order to function again.

 

I cannot play the 4D1 IW5M at all, as the router will stop working as soon as I try to, it is just starting to annoy me.

 

Is there any fix? Is it a client bug or do I need a new router?

 

Router is a D-LINK DIR-632.

Oh ok, I thought you was blocked at "connecting to server".

So it crashes when you clic play and stuff .. mmh .. Did you tried turning your Firewall OFF ?

Well you know, it seems that you both have a different problem (for you, it can't connect, for him, his connection crashes while trying to connect), so I suggest you to make your own thread since it's not your, and give more infos about your problem

I think it's something with UPnP. It connects and 'talks' with your router to open certain ports, have you tried turning on UPnP in your router?
