The Mod is Playable at all maps including ported and yet to be ported.

You can level up - check out the supports summary.

 

Please do not modify the mod into your preference instead you are free to post your suggestions and i'll be happy to analyze and grant every acceptable suggestions. Post whatever bugs you can notice. I'll be updating the mod from time to time since it is considered Beta version for now.

This Zombie gametype is the revision of the old co-op zombies since 2010 mentioned above.

GAME SYSTEM:

inherited gametype = ( FFA ) Free-For-All

Survive for as long as you can

Survive by any means necessary.

Be free - room around the map - don't let the zombies catch you or die.

Revive your fallen teammates - be a team player and earn $500 each assist.

Buy weapons and upgrades to help you get rid of zombies.

Buy perks to help you out.

Buy helicopters for aerial backup.

Achieve killstreaks by killing zombies.

Ride your helicopter JoyRide and enjoy the over watch view. you'll have to find a safe place before calling this heli.

Be watchful to your back. Zombies might corner you out and get you killed from behind.

zombies health encreases as the wave goes higher.

zombies makes you down at second hit when you have no juggernaut otherwise 5 hits.

 

You can not hurt yourself but you can suicide by holding grenade in about 5 seconds or jump below the map.

Radiations cannot kill,

 

ZOMBIES SPAWN SYSTEM:

Zombies onStart spawn points will detect the mapcenter point and spawn randomly scattered around the map.

Zombies respawn point are auto generated through players location.

Zombies will track your location and will respawn when they don't see you.

Zombies will respawn nearby your location wherever you are even if you try to spawn yourself anywhere outside the map.

zombies can glitch by spawning below the map in last alive zombie or two, to get rid of it - just don't camp.

 

PLAYERS SPAWN SYSTEM:

spawn locations using Free-for-all spawn points

players will spawn where the ranger wall weapon is located.

players will spawn where the interventions weapon is located in other maps.

Dead co-op players will go into spectating on one of the alive players.

OnJoin players will go into spectating untill the wave is finished.

 

KillStreaks:

modified to support on damaging and tracking zombies

[ 50 Kills ] predator missile -------------- Predator missile

[ 100 Kills ] Heli-PointGuard -------------- AKA Harrier Airstrike. Shoots missiles at zombies.

[ 150 Kills ] Stealth Airstrike ------------ It's not damaging zombies. just a spice for now.

[ 200 Kills ] Abrams-Turret ---------------- AKA Sentry Gun with modified shooting sounds from BTR

[ 300 Kills ] AC130 ------------------------ AC130

[ 400 Kills ] Heli-Patrol ------------------ AKA Helicopter flares or Pavelow.

[ 700 Kills ] Heli-Bombard ----------------- AKA helicopter minigun - tracks moving zombies instead of players. not added in the mod for now.

You'll have to wait for max-ammo bonus to supply your upgraded weapons.

 

BONUS SYSTEM:

KA-BOOM ---------------------- kill all zombies that spawned with explosive effects.

INSTAKILL -------------------- all zombies are in one shot kill in 30 seconds.

DOUBLE POINTS ---------------- doubles the loot per kill and hit in 30 seconds.

FIRESALE --------------------- sale for RWC of $10 per weapon in 30 seconds.

MAX AMMO --------------------- gives you full ammo stock, empty clips will remain empty until you reload.

HELI-DESTROYER --------------- A Heli that is equipped of guided missiles and turret will be deployed automatically for the achiever.

HELI-PATROL ------------------ High sensitive helicopter patroller to rapidly shoot at zombies unceasingly.

RANDOM BOOSTING CHAT --------- say something randomly.

 

More details when you play - I might have forgotten to add here the other features.

 

Host Settings Notes

 

1) If you play it in private - don't forget to set the gametype in Free-for-all (g_gametype dm) otherwise it won't work.

2) Please do not change the server name.

3) You can Add your clan name using the dvar provided in the config given below.

4) You can change the Place where you host the server using the dvar provided in the config given below.

5) Please do not change the acceptable maxPing.

6) Please set your max number of players to 6. higher than this will bug down the coop head Icons.

7) Note - this config isn't updated for the map rotations - You can Add whatever maps you like, Consider it no limits for maps including ported and yet to be ported.

8) for the admin that uses B3, Please turn your B3 for spamming off. The mod has random chat for players. And it happens repeatedly and I found in one server - All players were temp banned for 1 day because of it. They really was so innocent.

 

Your Server name format should look something like this:

Refer to the config for your ClanName and Area of Origin and set it accordingly.

Changelog 2012.1:

1) Zombies on start spawn origin is changed to detect random player instead of map center origin.

21) you'll get marathon and fast reload perks in easy mode.

22) restriction for other gametypes have been removed - Note that the Co-op Revive system works for all gametypes. The game will automatically reset to Free-for-all upon map_restart.

23) zombies now chase faster. in other word much harder specially when you set the difficulty to hard.

Restrictions for other gametypes removed. The co-op revive system will work for all gametypes since it is a customized revive system. The gametype will reset to Free-for-all upon map_restarting.

Makes hell a lot of fun, although I just had the time to play a single round for now, here is some feedback:

 

Sometimes the spawning happens right in front of you (maybe a distance check in the future?). And I have the feeling, that there are way too many weapon drops of the zombies. Also I did not find an ammo box on afghan, but I did not unlocked all doors. However a ammo box is something very needed at the beginning. I needed to knife to get points to buy another weapon, is this intended?

 

Anyways very great work! That is a big competitor to AIZombies and RotU, especially since it is not that easy as AIZombies is.

Those you've experienced are intended to be that way.

 

Tips in playing:

1) When you spawn buy the ranger its just where you spawned just hold f by at least 2 or 3 seconds.

2) When you are out of bullet just go back where you buy the ranger. It will turn into some sort of ranger ammo store. the same for other wall weapons.

3) If you feel like knifing do it by hit and run. meaning knife once if you are not at brink of death otherwise avoid the zombie and wait untill you recover.

4) work hard by killing or hitting zombies as much as you can untill you get 2500 to buy a juggernaut.

5) upgrade your usp, This is a powerful gun when upgraded don't replace it with wall weapons.

6) while you are busy, there will be random bonus drops that will help you.

 

those are just the basic steps. The rest will be on your own.

Trust me everyone the game is not that hard if you get used to it.

Now that's weird, I know of the bugs that are currently on the mod and I am aware most of them except the revive system I've never found any bugs on that when I am testing it with people in the test server. for the weapons drop It will drop everywhere even inside you as those will spawn in your current origin and once someone will revive you and there's weapon drops besides you it will be picked by the reviver but the revive process should still continue unless the reviver is surprised why he picked up a gun and then release the use button. Plus the weapons drop should only happen in the maps that has no wall weapons and random weapon crate. The one I release is bugged down by that and I'm fixing it by now.

1. Zombies do not always get a death animation, but instead keep running, until the body gets removed, I get used to it, but it is really not nice.

2. If you upgrade a normally (not a random one) buy-able weapon, you cannot get ammo from the box, where you brought it. Instead you buy the un-upgraded version of the gun again. Would be really nice, if that would work correctly.

For the deathAnims, I know it and I will try to fix it.

Thanks for adding one for me. Is your server the one with the suffix "Europa-Qat"?

I've join your server and I found no lags at all despite of the mod size. However I've seen that the server did not follow my Notes for host settings for number 5 and 6. It's not a big problem for number 5, but for number 6 - I would really appreciate if you set the max players to just 6 or if you like more do it maximum of 8. I really can't control your settings anymore since the mod is now public and I am no longer in position to dictate admins to do my likings. But it's not just because I like restrictions to servers but because if you set the maxplayers more than 6 it will not give headicons to other co-op members and when they are downed you won't be able to see that they are down which will ruin the co-op concept. Hope you guys would understand and follow my Host Settings accordingly.

 

Thanks though for creating a server for the mod, I really appreciate it and I love playing with the server. It was 10/12 players which started causing lags and eventually gotten memory allocation error. just for info.

 

edit: You must update the server with the updated one. The first uploaded file was kinda more buggy. It was not continuing the game rounds in some levels.

Well if you play alone, you run out-of-ammo with upgraded guns very easily. In a team it is something different, since you got more ammo in total. As you suggested I kept and upgraded my USP (it is very funny) and I totally understand, that you cannot buy ammo for those Overpowered weapons or any other special ones. Also I understand that there is no ammo supply for the random weapons. You can get some very good ones, if you are lucky. A LMG will probably also not run out of ammo. But I got none and wanted a gun, where I could buy ammo easily and most of the normal ones, that you can buy, suck in the later rounds, so I upgraded it and was surprised, that the ammo supply did not work. Now that I know, that this is intended, I totally understand that effect, but in single player you run out-of-ammo too easily in my opinion. So maybe you could introduce ammo supply for upgraded wall weapons or make the max ammo frequency depend on the total player count, so it is a bit more frequent, when playing alone.

 

Also a little request. I know, that the intentional idea is to play in co-op, but could you probably find a solution for using the AC130, when using it in single player? Or at least disable it, when the player count is one? It blocks my other kill steaks and 9 out of 10 times, I die while using it.

I got a couple of friends who run a zombie mod server from time to time and will be pleased to try a new version :)

@ Paulofonta, I'll be glad if your friends can still have a slot to make a server for this version.

 

@DidyouknowIpwn,

I will make an option by server dvar so others that prefer to have a zombie counter in there server can set it to true or false.

 

@drakulix, ammo crate will be added for next updates but there will be restrictions for the overpowered ones.

 

About AC130 does it bugged as it always? once gained then a message "Air Space too crowded" message?. if so, then that's easy to make it fixed. It's just that that AC130 is from the old no hope AI Zombies which is modded. but for now in this version it does not have to be modded so I will just have to replace it with the standard one. Plus when you have heli's that will let you vulnerable in the ground - find a safe place first before using it. otherwise you're body will die while using controllable kill streaks.

 

For Admins using B3 please turn your b3 spamming detection off. the mod has a random repeated auto chat. It causes the innocent players to get temp ban for 1 day.

That is was I meant. It would be nice to have a way to disable controllable killstreaks when playing alone or make them automatic instead. You know, if I play alone there are no save places and no mates to cover me.

 

Thanks for ammo crate. As I said ammunition for upgraded wall weapons is all I want. All other, especially the overpowered/special ones, do not need one in my opinion. That would only make the game too easy.

Plus when you have heli's that will let you vulnerable in the ground - find a safe place first before using it. otherwise you're body will die while using controllable kill streaks.

That is was I meant. It would be nice to have a way to disable controllable killstreaks when playing alone or make them automatic instead. You know, if I play alone there are no save places and no mates to cover me.

 

Thanks for ammo crate. As I said ammunition for upgraded wall weapons is all I want. All other, especially the overpowered/special ones, do not need one in my opinion. That would only make the game too easy.

i'll find a way to do something for this. If I can find the way to do it automatic I'll do it, otherwise i'll disable it in favor of if there's only one player around.

Many players do like it this way since the mod was born, I can only reduce it's damage but not completely remove it.

Stop acting like a two year old kid saying 'Actavision'. Besides, without them MW2 wouldn't have existed and neither would 4d1.

Those bugs are already fixed except the zombies disappearing sometimes, I'll fix it later but for now you have to deal with it.

For the max round - it's stated in the Game System at the main post that's clear enough to understand.

Final Edition for version 1 has been added to the main Post...

 

Edit:

Final changelogs for version 1

1) added random preparatory notice at the end of wave intermission.

2) Added pulse effect at intermission counter.

3) Added Deathsound effects after wave intermission countdown.

4) rearranged huds.

5) fixed the zombie guns being spawned in wrong animation type and suite type.

6) fixed zombie guns being sometimes placed at the zombies butt.

7) fixed zombie guns being sometimes floating in front of them.

8) removed "killed by" card display.

9) fixed minimap disappearing after killing a zombie.

10) zombies now move to players smoothly, no more annoying pause in movement.

11) revised animation switch and zombies speed according to their random animation type.

12) zombies that do not have deathAnims are now fixed.

13) much faster zombie spawning system. this fixes the zombie that takes too long to spawn in the last alive zombie

14) zombies will rove around in certain radius when no player is sighted... no more just standing there and animate without moving to.

15) added "killed zombieclient" notice hud in the lower left corner.

16) added "zombieclient spawned" notice hud at the lower left corner.

17) added fire sound at the store crates.

18) Fixed Armory doors prices that opens even you've got no money...

19) added hint messages to teleporter and teleporter charger of highrise map.

20) Made it 2 different difficulties: Easy and Hard (type in Ghi_hardMode 0 or 1) 1 = hard, 0 = easy. the default value is easy since it seems hard for the users.

21) you'll get marathon and fast reload perks in easy mode.

22) restriction for other gametypes have been removed - Note that the Co-op Revive system works for all gametypes. The game will automatically reset to Free-for-all upon map_restart.

23) zombies now chase faster. in other word much harder specially when you set the difficulty to hard.
