at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at DBNUpdater.Updater. ( CacheContentFile)

 

 

i've deleted all the .cpart files and .xml still no use HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Move the whole folder to let's say desktop. Or run launchIW5M.exe as admin.

Making the whole folder not read-only(or read only, can't remember off the top of my head) while it being on the desktop, or somewhere not in Program Files and launching as admin SHOULD fix it.

Yeah, all this permissions stuff in Win7 is a pain in the ass. :F

Eventually try putting in the different partition (drive d, you know).

just just do the map setitngs : only-read of and see of it works now

the only thing left is update STEAM because it said i have to start and it's outdated but np i will update it in safemod coz it's the only way :cry:

Im getting exactly the same error when I run LaunchIW5M.exe.

It updates properly for a couple soconds and then an error appears and the update freezes at

decompressing zone/code_post_gfx_mp.ff

unauthorized user or something like that.

PLZ help, I really want to play this game on your servers, FDO!

Just delete the file which is giving error and the cpart in that folder. If it still giving error but with other file, do the same. it worked for me

Bro i did that already as i said i got this problem in both iw5m and iw4m

You have to remove the "read-only" attribute from zone\english folder.

Check the folder's properties and remove that.
