Yes, it's working. The first time I've notice this was when I reinstalled win7 x86. After few restarts, the time zone got changed and the game was no longer able to get server queries or connects to them. So it is a server-side issue, I believe. No sarcasm whatsoever.

I hope this is a sarcasm.

The server date and time is absolutely not related to this.

aMW3 and aOps had this very same issue, only way to fix was by restarting your game until it works.

And yes, it is a serverside issue.

aO and aMW3 didn't have this issue at all, just an issue with connecting to the (now non-existent) DW server. Also, time synchronization does make sense, seeing as this issue happens during the initial (complex) challenge/response sequence. To prevent replay attacks, commonly a timestamp is used to make the packet unique... but the margin for that in general protocols is ~a day. Guess IW failed at that, which also explains why this issue occurs on the Steam version as well.

Also, it has nothing to do with anything being broken on 'the master server'.

The solution is So Simple... Just install the OS again... I use to have that problem before and i just changed to Windows 7 SP1 with July 2012 Updates and IWM5 Working ;D

Ps: Is Worth it

Well it's a common fix for avatars not appearing in a few polish Instant Messangers - timestamp's differ for client and server and authorisation fails, and client can't get avatars of user's contacts.

I remember that it was also an issue with Flash Player or Java just a few weeks ago - the update was constantly poping up and even if you installed it, it would still show the next time you rebooted.

You just need to make sure you're set in the right timezone and that your date and time are roughly correct.

My Internet Time doesn't sync. It gives an error of unable to connect to Windows Time Service :(

go to start->run and start "services.msc". Scroll down to "Windows Time" service and double click it. If it's disabled, you can set "startup type" to automatic, OK and restart the pc. Then sync again manually after the reboot.

You can also use this to automatically sync your clock at whatever intervals you want: http://www.worldtimeserver.com/atomic-clock/atomic.exe

Still luck, not a real fix.

Now, now. Let's just call it a ''lucky fix'' ;p anyways, locking this. Any new topic coming up with this error is going to get re-directed here. (locked to prevent ''Thanks'' spam).
