Any idea if I can bail outta this?

Опубликовано:

So, my mid-terms ended, and I decided to take the week after it off (which is this ongoing week) and just today I got a call from my friend saying that the papers have been given out, now the problem is, that the marks are HORRID. In maths I got 12.5/100 and in Chem a 8.5/70, all the others have great marks, now, as you can see, I'm fucked, I usually get like 80-85/100 and I don't even know how I got these shit of marks, and no, my friend isn't trolling me, he even sent me a pic of the paper. I can give a retest on these two subjects, but the thing is, I NEED to hide these marks until I give the retest on 16th to fix the grades. What I don't understand is, HOW. As soon as I step into the school, they are gonna grab me and ask for my parent's number, I'll probably shake them off with a false number, but then I will be fucked the next day. Any ideas folks?

do your parents care that much? also, I can't see how someone who actually did properly take the classes could wind up with low-ass results - try investigating that issue first.

(also, >not having parents' number on file in the first place)

Yes, my parents care VERY much about it.

Well, I don't know, my paper did go kinda lame-like, but still not lame enough for those marks. I will try to figure it out with the paper on Monday when I go to school, but in case that the marks are actually that bad, I will be caught there.

and telling them that you can handle this on your own is not an option, right?

Sadly, no.

just dont go to school till 15th(apply a fake medical application, send it through your friend maybe ?etc etc), and just give the retest on 16th and tell the teachers to keep their patience, and score good in the retests so that your teachers wont ask for your parents number.

That is actually do able, but It will be hard to avoid the teachers and/or their massive rant when I show up on 16th. They might even take me to the principal or some shit, I can talk my way out of it, but they will still want the number. They might even ask for parents to come the next day, and then I won't be able to get away.

Give them the number and say your parents work untill [the time you'll make it home for sure]. When they call say they went somewhere else in a hurry, but you make sure you're the one that gets to phone first.

Tomorrow try to make parents go somewhere with you and just leave the phone ringing. They most likely won't call again.

Or if you have a cellphone, then ignore the calls from day 1.

I do have a cellphone, but teacher's are unlikely to stop trying if the marks are this low. I can set the number in a blacklist though.

It's only going to get worse the more you wait, I'd rather go to school and get over it then making the situation worse.

If I play it the school's way and drop by the school on Monday, the parents will be called, they will be told the marks, they will flip out and rage at me, take almost every way of entertainment I have and so on. I don't want that, and I know I can fix the grades in the retest, it will be bad if I go there.

ok simple advice (requires a landline number). I think u do have a landline number(MTNL or BSNL) just cut the line with a scissor and give them ur landline number.

+++ so when they call it will continue ringing and no call will come and others wint notice it :D haha.

perfect advice for and Indian in troble in school.(BTW aabir which class r u in[im guessing 11th] and board??)

and board??)

Yeah, I'm in 11th. I can just blacklist the number, but the thing is, that if the call doesn't go through, the teachers will ask for another number the next day :/

According to the legal system, no.

Then insist on that.

Also, what a stupid situation. Something went obviously wrong with your exams. Instead of talking to you and ask what happened, check their own shit, somebody might have messed something up; they just go IM GONNA TELL UR PARENTS, UR SCREWED, LOL. I mean, wtf.

This (as NTA already said above)

OR

Tell your parents before some teacher does (It's always better if you do it), accept how they want to deal with the situation, do the re-test, get good marks -> parents will chill after 1-2 weeks.

It's easier that way, trust me .. ._.

Okay, my teacher just called me up (how the fuck did she get my number?, probably got some friend to speak up) and told me to give her my parent's numbers. I forged a story about both my parents being out of station and how I didn't have the number and shitz, so she told me to come with the numbers by tomorrow, and also said that the vice-principal wanted to talk to them as well, now I'm fucked as shit and have no idea how to do this, she said that the papers aren't missing and she cross-checked a lot of times and how it wasn't possible that the same happened with two papers, doubt she will move tomorrow.

Well, 12 marks out of a hundred is unexplainable, no excuse is gonna work, and they aren't some chill parents, they will rage out when they hear that, firstly they won't even believe it, but if I insist on it being true, they will just go all sad and start saying things like "I couldn't even bring you up properly" "you can go live with your aunt/uncle/whatever they can take better care of you" "you lose all access to electronics and you lose all privacy" or anything else which can be avoided if I can give that goddamned retest, and even if I get the good marks, they will say that the marks improved because of whatever "new policy" they applied and won't repeal it.

I swear all Indian parents are like that.

On-topic: I would say your pretty much screwed. But there must be some reason why you got those horrible marks? Do you have any 'evil' idiots who hate you and intercepted the paper and put another paper with some fake name on it? Doubt that, but I can't think of any explanation over such a (somewhat?) smart person getting such low marks.

Well, then you have to accept that I guess.

Better than trying anything stupid tomorrow and getting in more troubles.

Your parents will be angry, no doubt. They will take away most of your stuff (or everything?).

But then again, do the re-tests, do your fucking best to get FUCKING GREAT MARKS and continue with your life. They will chill after they see how you do your best next year (which implies, that you get good marks next year obv)

Got off the phone with my friend and he is willing to act like my father on the phone. He will also cook up a story on how he can't meet the teachers in person. Do you guys think this might work? :c
