i would like to know can i keep all my files when switching from win7 to win 8 ?

you can do dual boot or install it on the same HDD your files will be moved to windows.old which can be found in "c://"

or you can do a fucking in-place upgrade which will only move the old OS to Windows.old.

God no. The UI is terrible, so I'll stick with my beloved W7.

The UI isn't bad...I don't know why many people hate the metro UI.I actually like it..

Because I don't want my windows to look funky colorish hippy style. And there is no start button either which is pathetic. Whenever I get a new laptop / PC I'll have my W7 discs ready to remove W8. <:

But then again, it's a personal preferences.
