My old laptop has 2GB Ram and it ran Windows 8 Consumer Preview without any issue..

that's why, i have intel core 2 duo E6550 2.33GHz 1.87GHz

That's not a valid excuse, RAM is the cheapest upgrade of all. You can buy another 2Gb for $15-30, and for more than $30, there's already 4Gb kits.

 

Hell, I'd give you my OCZ Reaper 4Gb kit for free if I wanted to bother with postage and shit. It's collecting dust now anyway.
