Is it possible to change AK47 model to AK74u mini??

Just a model you know...like with AUG?

I asked my friend is it possible he say it is. I didn't tryed it.

The models are in iw_06.iwd ,while I was installing some custom camos.

I don't want to replace a hole gun (sound,fire rate,and shit...)

I think he ment that little 'bug' some guns have in IW5. Where they get smaller and shit.

No, the AUG is a weapon that is actually included within the MP files, and is actually a weapon in it's own. that was supposed to be in MP before they removed it. It shares it's stats with the M60E4 with Grip. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Indeed you are correct @Vextor . Aug is included in MP but is not visible in weapons list [ though you can use this weapon using simple memory change ] . But there is no mini-AK47 so NO AK47 can't be replaced with miniAK.

You can't 'create' a weapon model, as we don't have the mod tools.

Also, notice that even if we had tools to put InGame weapons, we would have to remove one and stuff, because the game

has limits, as a Dev said.

I managed to actually get an AK4u model from the "!giveWeapon" command. I dug through the weapon/killstreak list and found it, just saying it is possible, the model exists, i've seen it. It looks just like the AK4u on black ops without a cammo. It just doesn't fire though...

Guessing that can be fixed.

I'll look into it again (because i forgot the name) and tell you if I find it.

 

EDIT: Ok found it, it's the artillary_mp weapon.

Only works when prone moving however but, the model exists.

And I found two iwi files: weapon_ak74u_col.iwi and weapon_aks74u.iwi

Isn't the model in Spec ops and Single player files? I saw it in MW3 before. Wouldn't have a clue how to load it in MP, though.

i know what the difference between them, the aks-74u is a shortened variant in the AK group of guns, what i am trying to say is that, that is not the ak-47 in mw3 multiplayer.
