Hey! We're running an iSnipe server, and we're having some users game's crash and I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence or server-side, also sometimes they time out after downloading the mod. Anyway to fix this?

i have tried to reinstall mw2 and 4d1 and nothing have been changed i get that error all the time and i wounder wtf is wrong ?

This happens to me too. no matter what mod. IW4M whines about it.

 

but works the second time.

Users that have these problem should enter the following command:

 

cl_modVidRestart 0

That solved the error, for me.

If it occurs only after mod being downloaded you can try renamng .iwds in mod folder to z_svr_modnameeeeeeeeeeeee.iwd

This thread was quite old but anyways my .iwd was like that. Doesn't really happen often anymore, but thanks anyways.

how do i enter cl_modVidRestart 0 and the rename dont work for me

1. press the tilde key

2. type cl_modVidRestart 0

3. ???

4. Profit
