Bounce Mod Release

  2. It's simple/easy to merge this with any other mod.
  3. You can easily add bounces yourself.
  4. Uses invisible entities for each bounce, customization is pretty extended (as to whether to use a bounce radius opposed to whether you're touching the invisible entity, the radius size, bounce multiplier, etc).
  5. Uses \scripts\.

Want this mixed with a specific mod?

Open them both up and drag my _load.gsc and \mod\ folder into maps\mp\ of the other mod.

 

Someone can delete my old thread if they want.

Not sure if this will have more updates or what. Not much more to add/change IMO, but I'm opened to ideas/thoughts.

I guess I also should had stated the main difference between my old one & this one.

The old one used threads for each bounce & would have a different for loop for each coordinate checking each different locations and your velocity/distance/etc. also it had some unnecessary code.

The new version uses one loop that checks all players locations & all bounce locations & players vel/etc.

 

Also I changed a few things about the Y distance of being near a bounce as well so that you actually (well hopefully) touch the surface. This is why I had to redo all bounce coords as most were at least 50 units above the surface lol.

 

Another things is if you run this on a server players with high ping (170+ I'd say) will experience a 'warp bounce' on their side. To everyone else it'll look fine/normal but on their screen they'll hit the bounce and be on the surface then warp into the air pretty much.
