Promodlive_v3.3 is impossible to have on a public server,is just boring and anoying to reconnect just to play.

Is someone interested in a version for public servers which needs no reconnect, but has no weapon files (so not the new scope delay and e.g. removed muzzle flash) and obviously won't have the new menu?

It would have the no-nade cooking (as the frag_grenade file needs no downloading to work properly) and all the other things of the promodlive_v3.3.

OR support for menu and weapon files can be magically fixed all of a sudden... O_______o That way you'd only need one version of promod... promodlive_v3.3 that can do it all... oh man I must be tired again, dreamin' and shizz.

This is what to do: I need some beta testers who will get acces to a svn repository, so they will always be able to test the newest version. Preferably people who have an own server to test it on. Well i'm not at home atm so i can't test until monday but for promodv3.3 without menu, i just copied all folders of the mod (i mean the folders in the archive like "weapons" or "promod") in m2demo. After that, i just created a folder called "promodv3.3_war" in mods with nothing in (i also put "fs_game mods\promodv3.3_war"). So the mod is in m2demo and "fs_game..." with the empty folder is just to make my server shown as type : promod. Not sure if it works with menu ^^. Btw, clear your m2demo folder before copying the mod in. Hope it'll helps

I think i tested it before and it wasn't working.

 

EDIT: Yes, its still bugged... keep getting no-ammo bug on first connect.

 

Well it will work when you have the files in your clients m2demo too, but thats not really a solution for public servers as nobody has them there. Other than that, you would get the no-ammo bug on vanilla servers then.

You just have to launch the promodlive_3.3 in the MODS menu and all bugs are fixed

But for the people who try the promod for the first time they dont have the mod in the menu.. :?

I keep getting an annoying Fatal error after 5 mins when i load strat in my private server.

"Fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x0704ccb4."

I think it is related to my resolution somehow but i manage to play on online servers with no problems. Any way to adress or even fix this problem so i can enjoy strat mode more than 5 minutes at a time before it crashes?

The cod4 deagle replaces gold pretty pointless tbh :/

Ye replacing everything is kinda useless if you want to play like cod4 go play cod4.. This is MW2 with MW2 weapons.
