A little advice to you NTA: I understand that the friendlist is one of the most ambitious things in 4D1, BUT you should fix most of the current issues intead of adding new features.

As a programmer, I can tell you that fixing issues can be a lot of stress and can be very discouraging if that is all you are doing. Sometimes it is nice to take a break from that and do something a little more fun to reduce some stress. At least for me, anyway. Although, I don't know what issues you are referring to...

No, he can do whatever he wants, also for most people is IW4M working just fine, recent r97 update fixed a lot of stuff.

 

 

He's getting issues with his custom map.

[22]  NP_Friends* doesn't use that table at all
[22]  so i can make php script
[22]  so you have 3rd party server for friends?
[22]  use a standard xmpp server with some modifications
[22]  yeah right whatever does that mean 
[22]  "devels" will take care of it

Ok Ok, I just gave some advice. Of cource he can do whatever he wants and he's not obligated to continue the project.I appreciate his work very much.

 

Also friendsystem was something I wanted very munch in the aIW days.
