A preview build of GBH2 with highly minimal features (in short, you can browse around the map) is available at files/gbh2-r2.zip - it requires the XNA Framework 4.0.

 

The controls are basic: arrow keys for moving, pgdown/pgup for zooming.

Wow, apart from the spotty lightning it looks very realistic(IE., like the original). Are you considering some kind of single player as well or will it be all multiplayer?

I like the other map better.

But it's pretty laggy for me when I look over the green cubes.

Yeah, I need to tweak the exact lightning values to contrast properly, though at the default zoom level it's not too terrible.

Not at all, it mainly depends on my mood and any huge design issues that come up, which seeing as I pretty much underestimated the detailed oddities that occur in game development might be a lot.

Had a little look around the map. Everything seems to be fine, except the lighting as somebody already mentioned.
