What games? The only games I know that are not supporting XP are games based on Frostbite 2.0 engine (BF3 and NFS: The Run)...

 

I will of course migrate to newer version of Windows in the future, but for now changing OS for less than 5 games is a stupidity, isn't it?

 

Real gamers don't use a 10 year old OS that isn't updated or supported anymore. That's just a simple fact.

Yep, I do have it. I just yesterday tried playing via matchmaking, just a few simple TDM's were a pain in the arse. Only russian hosts, it takes forever to find a game, I couldn't connect to a friend constantly.

 

I will DEFINITLEY be playing IW4M, the dedicated servers are the best thing that could happen to this game.

 

To everyone who doesn't want to buy the game, because it's "not worth it" - you've probably been playing alterIW for a while, making you believe this game is free. MW2 is a brilliant game, with lots of really good ideas and maps implemented by the developers, just because you could play MW2 free via alterIW, doesn't mean it's a free game. If you enjoyed playing, just buy it, you will still enjoy it afterwards, MW2 keys are 20 bucks, it's really not that much.

Why are you all being such smartasses. If you don't want to buy it, go to the nearest store that sells the game, ask if you can hold the DVD because you're not sure if it fits in your computer, carefully replace it with a CD from your moms collection, hold the back of the CD towards the cassiere and give it, say it wouldn't fit in your PSP, slowly walk away, run.

I've owned it for a long time, I do not own the DLCs tho, and I won't buy them..crusty ass maps anyway..

 

Hope it supports XP..would be silly not to considering the actual game supported XP as did aIW..

 

BTW Microsoft ended support for SP1 and SP2, SP3 is continued til 2014, why spend 150$ for windows 7 when only..2 games force you to use it..? Even newer titles, Mw3, Dota2, Diablo 3, CS:GO all support windows xp and directx9..ofcourse you wouldn't know that..but you like to talk about it like you do

Everybody thats been questioning my "extra copies" I got for this game. I using them for a LAN party before the very next day aiw came may 2010. I owned 6 gaming pcs all together by myself. So as being a "nice" friend for LAN party. I supplied all the pc and games so they dont have to bring there pc

 

 

I live in bonnies. no possible way to play online but will be soon in the next 2 months I be having dsl finally. I been waiting for low ping dsl connection this since 2005. wish I can move somewhere else but family will miss me if I move too far away.

 

 

btw retail black ops sucks. how can I get dwban if I never play online? ROFL also went ahead and got extra copies of black ops since alterops was pretty much cancel/unstable. So right now 3 active copies of black ops. yes I will be using all of them unless NT have something cool 8-) I might use iw4m on all of them.

One of the reasons I came over to alteriw is because I got vac banned for hosting private modded lobbies (not prestige lobbies, fun little mods like lowgrav, speed, chopper bullets, etc...)
