Console on MW3? afaik that isn't accessible.

I run MW2 much better than MW3.

How exactly did you uncap from 90?

 

I thought the cmd was "com_maxfps"

In MW3 I get 120fps without the fan being loud at all. I'm an editor and i need to record gameplay, that's why i need a high fpsrate.

Can you not read? Please look at my previous posts. I obviously know how com_maxfps works. I was asking how in the world you unlocked "120" fps in MW3. There is no console.

Ever played BLOPS on PC? Especially on lower-class PCs it is simply terrible performance.

I recently updated to an i7-2600k with 16GB RAM and a new 2GB Radeon HD6870 and only now can I experience it entirely stutter-free (on highest settings).

MW2 has always run so fluidly for me, even on my two PCs from before, and the older one was utter crap....

 

So I don't really know what you're getting at, the MW2 engine as well as the MW3 engine (which are basically the same) run so much better than most FPS engines anywhere!

yea blops is terrible

i only get like 40 fps with my hd4850

Yep, Treyarch just failed so hard. I have to play it in "800x600" + lowest graphic settings...

6870 2GB?! I HAVE THAT! How in the world did you get it to highest settings? I have an i5 2320 3GHz, did you overclock?

Black Ops has a config file with the max fps on a specific line in the file.

I'd imagine there will be the same for MW3.

(On a side note.. Why is Black Ops so terrible to you guys? It's more fun and balanced)

Everyone running with Famas, Ak-74, Galil because every other gun feels the same means the game is balanced?

Much more balanced than MW2 and MW3 combined.

I find blops fine. I can run it full bore on my i5 (3GHz) + overclocked GTS450 (900MHz) with a stable 60+ fps. Maybe it's just because my hardware isn't that far off an XBOX
