Counter Strike : IW4M

 

This mod is a replica of Counter Strike gameplay in IW4M. This is my first mod so it will not be perfect but I hope in the future I can improve the mod.

 

This thread will be edited in the future for more information on the progression.

 

Feature 16/09/2012 :

-[100%]- New shop system

-[100%]- Working cash system like in CSS

-[100%]- New health system

-[100%]- Simplist graphism (Actually it's only no fog)

-[100%]- One Shot in the head (I will change that later)

-[100%]- No Sprint, No ADS, No Prone

-[100%]- New HUD element

 

Working on 16/09/2012 :

-[25%]- Buy Zone

-[10%]- Edit weapon files

-[50%]- Custom sounds for weapons

-[75%]- New HUD

 

To Do 16/09/2012:

-[50%]- Improve Popup [No money]

-[0%]- Improve Menu

-[0%]- Equipment

-[0%]- Correct some bug

-[0%]- Create a new ADS system for some weapons

Was actually thinking of making something like this, but this look far better than anything I would of. :3 Anyway, nice job, but are you thinking of adding buying armor? Because I know _damage.gsc's sHitLoc contains 2 "helmet" and "head", just giving suggestions, not sure if it actually helps. :3

Release it and I'll set it up on my server (I always loved that system).

This looks so cool, but I have a few questions:

 

Since this is using weapon and menu files, wouldn't it be a mess if you try to host in on a dedicated server? Like no ammo bug etc. Promodlive_v3.3 suffers from this problem as well and it has caused many players to just not bother anymore. Hopefully this will get fixed some day...

 

Also, since there is no sprint, would setting "jump_slowdownenable" to 0 so you could kind of like buny hop be a good idea?

 

Other than that this looks like alot of fun to play. I'd be glad to test this mod for you.

Yup this will be like promod 3.3. No ammo and No menu bug. That's why this mod will be better for private match until NTA fix this issue.

Alright, well fair enough then.

I'm just getting into CS with CS:GO, and I would have loved to see CS money system as a mod in MW2. No change with recoil/ADS/sprint/etc, keep it as is (or keep it as Banz's promod is, even better). Just the fact that you have to earn everything you want to use.

 

I'm somewhat sad that you want to go full on CS for this mod, but it looks promising anyway. I'd be interested to try it when it's done.
