on double click or pressing "Launch" it sets fs_game and then vid_restart's
if fs_game has a value, "Launch without Mods" is visible, which will reset fs_game and then vid_restart - http://tdtgaming.com.au/i/5d5ebf.png
added PatchMW2ModList.cpp to the project
ignored linker warning 4099 (although you need to hexedit your link.exe)
moved PatchMW2ServerList's UIFeeder to its own scope

When I try to launch a mod, it makes a vid_restart, then the screen stays black and this error comes up:

It seems to be a bug with vid_restart, the same happens if I'm not loading a mod and just executing vid_restart.

why so italic

Anyways, this doesn't happen to me or anyone else, so your best bet would be to verify the game on steam.

Don't know if I did everything right, but it works for me, compiled it myself just an hour ago....

Also, I tested setviewpos with lceffects and it wasn't what I expected (I know this isn't the revision it was added). The points worked fine but it was so shaky =/ I don't think I'm doing anything wrong but I'll do a few more tests with it. If not I'll post the cfg I used and see if you can make it smooth by changing setviewpos (Maybe NTA added this but you might be able to help :L)

Oh, and as a side note it would be nice if you could remove the 4096 dvar limit so we can make longer 'smooths/fly by's' w/e you want to call it.

Should now be fixed in r63.

By the by, 'vid_restart' is unneeded for a mod, unless you have some type of custom background. Even so, it might not even be required then.

Any UI files would need to be recompilled, any materials would need to be loaded, so yes, vid_restart is needed.
