He lost contact of his dad at five-six years of age ._. I didn't even know any one of my parents first names at that age.

IMHO, you need to get outside and meet irl people. From what conversation I've had with you, you appear to have perfectly functional social skills. Brush up on oral Nazi-Language, and you'd be fine. If appearance is a big issue to you, have a look around and see what other people of your age group are wearing/doing. Hold your head high, stand up straight. Then just go outside, and be social. A group activity might be a good place to start, since they often have a broad spectrum of people involved and a higher chance of finding someone you really get along with.

 

You're probably overworking this and turning it into a bigger deal than it needs to be. If you find things "awkward", ask yourself this: Will you give a fuck about this moment in a month? Six months? Is a moment of awkwardness really a big deal? Because it really isn't.

Also, since you're Dutch, German shouldn't be the hardest language to learn.. just take a course, that might be a good idea good...

Well, another forum which I visit is BakaBT and this reminds me that those people had a "meet-up", guess we can have one too where people from the community can meet up and NTA can finally socialize with the people he is comfortable with (not that he doesn't consider us idiots, but atleast he can talk to us).
