Aren't you able to find those? Even though it's a bit late, you can still start school. Work too, but it's unlikely you'll get employed without schooling. Maybe if you apply to work as a game designer, I'm sure they'll take your history of a popular FPS series emulation in account.

My job as a tech support guy is even more interesting than I firstly thought, I'm sure NTA would be happy with such a stuff as it's not related to programming but he's got the skill for it, the guys who work with me mainly got the job because of the skill they obtained still having a diploma is required but there might be options for NTA to get this...

Or pay to some school just so you go to an exam and get your degree. That is possible in extreme cases.

for the record: decided to fuck gen ed since last time things got fucked up because I didn't understand anything german during history, and the reason I want such is mainly because it's the 'norm', it might allow me to meet some similar-interested people and I actually don't want a fucking job yet

 

He made his own game already, and prior to aIW, he was a modder. I'd say game design suits him well. Also, his coding skills are good enough so je doesn't have to limit himself to reverse engineering.

As said on IRC, I really think getting a Microsoft Certification would be a good solution even if there are a few things which don't match with your criterias, you can't have a perfect solution especially in your situation :?

 

There are plenty of different certifications and I'm sure you might be able to find the one which match the most with what you want to do.

NTA has no to little IRL social contacts though. Also, you're just worried about not being able to play the game/be on the forum. If I were you, I would edit your post as you seem to only care about playing/browsing and not an actual life of an actual person.
