i dont understan what is ip of the KMS server ??

 

KMS is:

Key management service; for big companies, schools. Such as 50-100 or more PC's with SAME activation key. These keys called KMSCLIENT keys. And there is 3 licencing types:

1) Retail: You buy from near store or internet store. 1 to 5 PCs. Most of retail keys are for 1 PC.

2) Volume: This is for companies, schools and buisness with large number of computers. Volume licences have 1 key and this key for multiple computers. I mean you can activate computers that limited by key's limit. Key's limit can be 25-30-50-100-1000-5000 or something.

3) Oem: This is for computer manufacturers. Oems buying more that 5000 or 10000 keys and using these keys for 'retail pcs' these keys are the cheapest keys. These keys also using in companies' own pcs. Example: Hp bought 1 million keys. used 100000 for own pcs. Using other 900000 keys for selling with pcs.

 

In 2 and 3, you cannot activate per pc by connecting internet. It can take months or years. And no-one will want this. So the keys going to a server with some code. Server collecting this keys and giving activation response to machines. these activations are for 180 days <-> 6 months. After this period, you have to contact the server again. Else you will gain Go to pc settings to activate windows warning.

 

If you googled some, you should have seen VOLUME_KMSCLIENT or look like this KEY. this key can usuable with this volume activation method KMS. Other keys in RETAIL channel cannot activate with this method.

 

In win8 (core) and win8 pro can be 1 of them. But win8 enterprise is for volume licencing so you cannot use retail or single keys with enterprise...
