Hi. I just recently installed Windows 8 Pro and every time I try to launch MW2 I get "LAUNCHIW4M.exe has stopped working" error. It was working perfectly on Windows 8. Is there any fix for this?

Delete your m2demo folder in IW4M and caches.xml, then start the game..

Something is wrong with your DirectX, not your 4D1 Client..

Umm...if you don't have iw_22 and iw_23 this normally causes the game to freeze at start,that's why I asked if he downloaded the DLC's

I'm quite sure your are having issue no #2 " Couldnt Load Image preview_mp_XXXXXXXX"

Anyway you will need to download MW2 DLC, Just google "AlterIW dlc"
