It got a few functions that's sort of nice, like being able to choose videos from your subscription box at every video you watch from the subscription box. Also that it's easier to only see videos from one of the subscribed, like, even easier.

Also, no fucking "recommended videos" and a big ass thumbnail to some random russian video.

The previous layout was messy, this is just classy, but obviously affected by "metro".

Do I care that the whole page is on the left? Nooooooooope. OH NOES, I HAVE TO MOVE MY HEAD 10 DEGREES TO THE LEFT TO WATCH THE VIDEO... Maybe it looks a bit odd, but there's no issue with it.

They removed all the shit they had and I'm happy with that.

The video playback page looks like crap. I hate seeing the icons/avatars next to the usernames, makes it look like a forum, when it should not. Also what Zzzlol94 said, the whole website (video player, comments, main page, search results, etc.) is on the left side and there is a huge white space on the right. It should be centered in the middle! It just looks messy and is an annoyance, in my opinion. Miss the old YouTube from 2009.

Well it's good to be honest, but I don't like the title position because every time I open a video I say where is the title of the video!? then I catch it. But it will take a while till we get used to it, Because every time they change the style, a lot of people say " oh this is a bad layout then with time they like and accept it " they don't accept the change easily.

I've always never liked YouTube changes since 09', however, comparing it to the YouTube layouts preceding this one (after 09', of course), this actually seems quite good, and with the script NTAuthority posted above, it's bearable.

However, I can't say agree yes, or no due to the fact I would always prefer the 09' layout (however, this may be simply due to the fact I'm used to it; after all, I could bear with the drastic change with Windows 8, simply due to the fact I never actually used the Start Button that much in my overall computing experience), however, it is definitely better than the layouts that preceded this.

Yeah now i have to go My subscriptions-Uploads only just to see my subbox, before i would just load up youtube and thats it....

I think they made the new layout to be similar to win 8

anyone agrees ?

metro.

The new layout is as gay as metro in Win 8.

I like it quite a lot! In my honest opinion the previous one was the true fail (talking about the homepage here), and it really needed a replacement. Now I got back the "show uploads only" globally, which god knows where did it go before. And it's easier to organise everything.

The player not being on the centre doesn't bother me at all. Given the fact most editing programs have the viewer on the right side, I'm used to view things in different places of the screen. And I like the simplistic look. Although the fact everyone (Google, Microsoft) is trying to make their designs minimalist isn't THAT necessary.

9/10 here.
