FPS Lock was ok... if I wanted to lock on 125 fps it would stick to 125 fps... now I get ~115 to ~130 O.O

And if I lock on 250 I get 230-240 fps LOOKING TO THE SKY

with com_maxfps 0 I get ~600 fps...

What went wrong with game? ...or is it maybe my drivers fault?

I've got HD5850, quadcore fx4100 and 12 gb ram

It was all good a 2 weaks ago.

If you planing to say how I'm stupid and Fps can't be same all the time better don't say anything cause you aren't answering my question...

I seem to have the same issue with any IWFPS game lately - my framerate is always varying slightly below the cap, and at max it has a variance of 100fps at the same scene; might extend to Q3 itself as well, no idea about that.

Completely different hardware; Intel/NV - though the topic starter didn't state his OS, which might have *some* relevance regarding some issues I heard early on about NT 6.2.

cg_drawfps 0

Your problem is gone. (unless you are a wizard and your eyes overclocked above 60Hz)

Uh, that just shows him how much FPS he has...

._.

Does it matter if your fps counter says 120fps but your eyes can only see 60fps?

1) install cheat engine

2) change the value of the fps counter to 9999999

3) profit

And you still cannot say if it's really 9999999 fps or just 60.

Anyway why don't you just use vsync?

Depending on your monitor, it does, yes. And more FPS on IW4 = more 'exploits' to be used, fluid gameplay and such.

Try /com_maxfps

this should try to lock your maximum fps. Either that or NTA should try to remove fullbright as a cheat dvar, or atleast not detect people who try to use fullbright :3

LOL what are you talking about?

maybe when you upgrade computer and can get more than 60fps you will find out that the differance between even 100fps and 125fps is quite noticeable. moving the mouse is so much smoother at 125 fps, any higher and i cant really tell though..

the problem we are having (or atleast I am having) is that when we use the com_maxfps command our fps is never a solid stable number and is always jumping around for no reason.
