IW4M servers are ranked and so are IW5M servers.

NOTE :- servers hosted thru steam are NOT ranked.

all u need to do is tell ur gsp to host iw5m servers. and i dont think u can configure an unranked server to be ranked.

u can do it if u have remote access to the server. just use the dsut.zip patch and change the command line. or u culd ask ur gsp to do it for u

i noticed that there are some face off maps being used, how do i addd them to the map rotation and what are the names of the maps?

Use 1 don't use XXX, or any number that matches then it will randomize equally..

Put mp_terminal_cls

I did everything correctly but my server is not in the server list (neither in LAN nor in Internet tab). I could connect to it using the ~ menu and type "connect [local ip:port]"

Btw, I checked all required ports using PFPortChecker results are all green in all of them.

I excluded the game folder from anti-virus and even disabled my firewall.... Same thing

Not supposed to use that and that's your IPv4 address not your actual IP. Google: what is my ip and that IP there is your real IP.

ok my gsp is wiling to give this a go,

once i install the two files, dsut.exe and DBnetwork.Indigo.dll

 

if command line loos something like this

\iw5m\iw5m_server.exe +set sv_config "server.cfg" +set dedicated 2 +set net_port 27015 +start_map_rotate +set net_queryPort 27017

 

how do i set the server to run dsut.exe in command line ?

i have this wierd problem that every certain time (usualy 30 minutes) nobody can connect to my server

I've done everything by the guide, all ports open and all, downloaded the updater and still my Dedi won't start up.
