I have run a server on a vps and it's working perfectly and everyone can connect and play. however I can't find it in the server list and when I use the connect command in the game's console , It won't connect!! if you know how to solve this, please help

Here's the situation: Last night I was able to start the game over mw2 multiplayer fourdeltaone server and everything was ok. Now I tried to run the game and then I received a message from the console: "Error during initialization: Could not connect to server at master.alterrev.net NP". I tried to run the game several times but without success. What does this mean?

Hello, I met a cheater today. but thats not unusual.. but there seems like there never are admins online on any server. This guy was clearly cheating, because he followd ppl through the wall. Very obviously. The nick was "Mmm?!" Just wanted to knowledge my dissatisfaction. And point out the lack of Anti-Cheat going on.

Hello, I've been playing since AlterIW and I had this problem in aIW but it was not nearly disruptive enough for me to try to fix it. In 4D1 the problem is amplified to the point where it is giving me problems. Like random little lag/network stutters and the game completely freezes for fraction of a second, and sometimes it stutters really bad and i actually go back a few steps.. The random stutters are really annoying and are starting to affect my gameplay... does anybody have a fix for this? Any replies appreciated. Also did you guys add some kind of compensation system? Because i noticed on 4D1 the latencys seem off... 100 ping feels like 150 and 70 feels like …

Okay im kinda new here.. so .. I Got my Cod Mw2 now i just installed it... after that what would i do???? My friend told me that i should download the manual install just in the home page of the website... so i done the things need to do now i m having an error that... after i launch the game... hmmm 5-10 seconds the screen will go black... then it will say there is an error but i could not read the error.. -.- And another error that i read is IW_Versioninvalid

Ok... Guys today i was trying to use a mod afterthat i was experimenting lag in the main windows or better in all the game i fix it deleting the players folder in my mw2 folder or replacing the config_m2.cfg by other one can u download my cfg file

Yesterday i decided to play 4D1 again. In order to do that i downloaded MW2 from Steam, so basically i should have the newest files. But if i'm trying to start IW4M i got the following error: Fastfile for zone 'code_post_gfx_mp' is out of date (Version 5, expecting 276) Could anyone upload that file so that i can play again? My Internet-connection is not soo fast, so i don't want to download the whole game via steam again, plus i don't think that'll fix the problem...
