I have an idea for some new gametype called "Ghillie in The Mist". As an example I will use the episode "All Ghillied Up" from CoD4 SP. Everyone knows that in this mission main character with Cpt. MacMillan had to reach the hotel "Pripyat" in Chernobyl. They had to pass through enemy forces and remain unnoticed. Similar thing would be an objective in this game mode. The game randomly chooses 1, 2 or even 3 players (in depends on the quantity of the all players in server) who are "ghillies". They will have ghillie camouflage worn on them even if they are not using sniper rifle. They should use silenced weapons but it's not obligatory. And the last difference: some perk…

I figured out how to fix my last demo problem, but upon solving one, I've reached another. I had some help, and even they say they don't know the problem to this one. Once I get about half way through my demo, it freezes, then brings me to an error screen that says "Lost connection to host" - I'd really appreciate it anyone knows how to fix this

so i own the pureturmoil tdm server that is always pretty full. i am going to buy a server server machine. what do u think some good specs are to run maybe 2 fd1 servers and maybe a mc server. thanks

Well, I tried modding my client a bit. Changing the in-game menu music. Worked, but when I try to enter a server it gives me an error saying something like "Impure client detected IW_20". Does this mean modding isn't supported at the moment? -RCencelj1990

Hey, i've been getting into custom mapping lately and i've seen alot of people getting into the new maps, while they were adventuring were i couldnt be stuffed (didn't have files ) i was annoyed at getting killed when falling down the side of OilRig. So i looked in the files took out the death barrier and added some spawns, this map is great! although it sometimes makes it unfair for other players (map levels uneven). I get it instantly when I am trying to start it. Steam is on, I am fully logged in so it's not that. Is there any update I've missed maybe?

I don't know anything about dedicated servers (I know, I'm a noob) and almost every dedicated server is empty, and I want to play a particular mod. Is there a way to host a local game so that I can host a mod and people can join the game?

Also when i join a server my classes don't show up, only default classes do.

So, I've been messing around with some mods in private match, and everytime I end the game, there's a 30 second countdown before it goes back to the lobby. Is there a way to take the countdown away, or exit the game while it's there? Sorry, I'm new

When i open up IW4M is says could not load localization.txt. Please make sure Modern Warfare 2 is run from the correct folder. How do i fix this? please help

I can't figure out to working b3 in iw4m, in others clients , and old alteriwnet working but here, i can't put the commands, but b3 appears normal in the console without any errors.

Hey, lol another problem :/ i added a m16 file in the weapons folder (duplicated m40a3 edited) and then added the gametypes, and it loads gametype and everything then before goes into map its says Error: Could not load xmodel "viewmodel_m16_mp". So i have the animations and all that from Cod4 mod tools, were do i put them? Please help
